My Coke Rewards program was first launched in 2006 and by November of the same year, there were in excess of one million prizes redeemed by members. The program was initially intended to be only for one year but it has since been extended year in the past five years. Its currently extended until December 31, 2014.


Earning flybuys points is mainly achieved by purchasing regular consumer products sold at Coles Supermarkets. Most of these points are issued by the major Wesfarmer brands. Aside from purchasing Qantas airline tickets, cardholders can also earn and convert points to Qantas rewards by doing other transactions such as online shopping and booking accommodations.
